6 This is the generation that seeks him.
    Those who seek your face
        are the true seed of[a] Jacob.

7 Lift up your heads,[b] gates!
    Be lifted up, ancient doors,
        so the King of Glory may come in.
8 Who is the King of Glory?
    The Lord strong and mighty,
        the Lord, mighty in battle.
